computer skills @ GSDVC

Thanks to funds provided by the The Phuket Mulligans Golf Society six new computers and a printer were purchased for the Good Shepherd Development and Vocational Training Patong (GSDVC) last July. They were much needed to update the Computer Training Classes in Patong. Sister Euphrasia has just provided this update regarding how they are being used:

• During the first month, students are taught basic computer terms. In the second and third months, students learn to use Word program and Photoshop which is followed by an introduction to Excel and PowerPoint in the fourth month.
• Eight students completed the computer course in basic computers held between October & January. They learned Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  They also learned Photoshop.
• Another class conducted between December and March, held 20 children and three adults.
